About Milele

Milele International is a non-profit offering hope and healing to street-connected youth. Through purposeful programs and support, Milele provides a space for emotional and physical restoration while sharing the love of Jesus and the hope of the Gospel to street youth and their families.

Local Leadership

Our locally led team are the best people to address the unique challenges of their own communities and shape sustainable development. 100% of our in-country staff are local Kenyans.

Holistic Programming

We don't just get youth off the street, we provide mentorship, discipleship, life-skills, reintegration and counseling to enable them find physical, spiritual, and emotional healing.

Home is Best

We believe children thrive best in a loving home! God made us for family. Milele boys are onsite while they go through rehabilitation classes; and are then prepared to return to the safest family member. We work to restore broken family relationships, equip parents, and keep families intact.

Built Towards Sustainability& Stability

We are fostering the growth of Milele with sustainability as our goal. We intend to invest in sustainable projects that will not only generate additional income for Milele but also create employment opportunities for Milele boys as they transition from our program to employment.

Our Staff

We are committed to locally led initiatives in Kenya with oversight in both Kenya and the United States.
